Performance, Style, and Safety Converge in Saab's 2011 Model Lineup

Last updated 6 years ago

Saab is a world-renowned manufacturer because of its dedication to building safe vehicles that satisfy customers across the globe. In 2011, the Saab lineup has a variety of different coupes, sedans, and SUVs perfect for all types of drivers. Let’s get a little more familiar with some of the vehicles offered by Saab this year:

9-3 Sport Sedan

The entry-level Saab continues to turn heads, thanks to its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that can get the car off the line and up to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds! The turbocharger adds efficiency to the 9-3, making it capable of achieving up to 31 mpg on the highway. An available aero package provides upgrades and access to the infotainment system, which can help you navigate city streets as well as your music library with ease.

9-5 Full Size Sedan

An all-new design is featured on the 9-5 sedans in production, and with more aggressive styling and accents, these vehicles are anything but ordinary. The standard four-cylinder turbocharged engine of the 9-5 produces 210 horsepower and similar torque. Of the four trims available, the aero package is the highest, and packs an upgraded six-cylinder turbo that churns out 300 hp and clocks a zero-to-sixty time of 6.6 seconds. If you want an aggressive change of pace to the current sports sedans on the road, then consider a Saab 9-5.

9-4 X SUV

A top safety pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the 9-4 X is the full-size SUV offered by Saab in 2011. Saab’s XWD all-wheel drive system is one of the most impressive features of this vehicle, and electronic monitoring makes its traction impeccable in wet and wintry conditions.
